Wounded Warriors Canada 2014 Battlefield Bike Ride: From Spirit of Remembrance

The bike ride of a lifetime: The 70th anniversary of D-Day at Juno Beach to Vimy Ridge. "Honour the Fallen, Help the Living" June 5-June 14, 2014

Spirit of Remembrance was delighted and honoured to be chosen as the official supplier and operator for the inaugural 2014 Wounded Warriors Canada Battlefield Ride in France, which was designed and operated by Spirit of Remembrance for our wonderful friends at  Wounded Warriors.

Wounded Warriors are a fully registered Canadian Charity that reach out to all Canadian Forces affected by PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)

The 2014 Wounded Warriors Canada Battlefield Bike Ride was guided by the ethos, "Honour the Fallen, Help the Living". On June 6th, 2014, participants began an 8 day journey across France, riding to honour and remember fellow Canadians who paid the ultimate sacrifice in their service to Canada.

Not only did participants experience a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity, they also raised much needed awareness and funds for those who have returned home, suffering with the mental scars of war.  #HonouredandProud
